ACADEMIA


I have been involved in mental health research since the late 90s. I've had many jobs in academia including:


  • Head of Psychology Research in a large mental health trust
  • Researcher for a multisite national study
  • Senior Lecturer in Counselling Psychology involving supervising eleven successful DPsy's


I sit on the Editorial Board of some of the top psychotherapy journals in Europe. I am currently External Examiner for the University of Roehampton's Psychotherapy courses, an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Queen Mary, University of London, and hold Visiting Lectureships at a handful of Universities.  I  have designed five psychotherapy modules, all of which were rated 'Excellent' by trainees. I teach on clinical psychology, counselling psychology, psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis trainings and externally supervise DClinPsy theses.
